Melodic Music Studio uses an array of different books to help the students learn.

                         Voice Students

 We use the Master Theory books to teach theory. All student start with Book 1. For beginers it's easy to understand and has a layout that helps with common theory questions. For intermediate and advance student we use the first book to help remind the students of little things in theory that sometimes get forgotten. Each Book has 30 lessons with examples and worksheets.

Beginners Please purchase theBLUE book to the right. That is book one.

Intermediate and Advanced- Please purchase the BLUE and the PURPLE book to the right. These are book one and two.

Also, to purchase any music, one-sheets or collections, use this to search for it.

                      Piano Students

For Piano it all depends on youe level. For most of our lessons we use Piano Adventures. Each level has four or more books; a lessons book, a theory book, a technique and artistry book, and a performance, and most have a gold star performance. I do use all of the books.

These books make it easier for our students to see where they are and to better understand the basic to the more advanced.

For Beginners we ask that you start with the Purple topped books. This is the Primer level and to the left, it is the first one. All three are used for lessons.

For those who have done a year or less of previous lessons we suggest the the Level 1 which is the Red topped books. It is the Second one on the leftside. We use them all.

For those who have done more than a year go for the Blue topped book which is level 2A. That is the third book in the list. We also use them all.

If you are an Adult beginner use the Tan topped books which are at the very bottom of the list. We use all those books as well.

If you are coming from a previous teacher who assigned different books please do NOT purchase anything until after your first lesson. Please bring what you already own with you. We have over 20 different student books that we are comfortable using. We have just found the Piano Adventures to work the best. We will use what you already have.

If you prefer not to use any books. Please let us know at your first lesson. We do have other ways to help you grow as a musician. If these books bore you let us know, we believe in having each student dictate how they would like to be taught in the way they learn best.
